Stronsay Housing & Community Needs Survey

Dear Householder,
The Highlands Small Communities Housing Trust (HSCHT) has been commissioned by Stronsay Development Trust to carry out a detailed household survey that will help to guide any further housing development in your community. One questionnaire is being sent to every household in the area.

This survey is for everyone in Stronsay.
While the main purpose of this survey is to help to clearly identify local need for housing we also want to give everyone the opportunity to share their views on any housing related issue in the community. So, even if your household has no immediate or foreseeable unmet housing needs, please spare a few moments of your time to complete the survey.

This survey has been made possible following a successful bid to the Scottish Government's Island Housing Fund. The primary aim of the Rural and Island Housing Fund is to increase the supply of affordable housing of all tenures in rural areas and Scottish Islands.

All information returned within the questionnaire will be completely confidential and will only be viewed by HSCHT staff who will analyse the returns and produce a report on the key findings.

THAW Orkney is a local charity which aims to eradicate fuel poverty and achive affordable warmth for all households in Orkney. If you are happy for your responses to questions relating to energy use only and your contact details to be passed to THAW please tick the box when prompted.
